Several organizations are taking donations to help Haiti after Tuesday's 7.0-magnitude earthquake, which officials fear may have killed as many as 100,000 people. Here are some ways you can help:
* The American Red Cross is taking donations and has already pledged $1 million to the relief effort. You can donate by visiting www.redcross.org or by calling 1-800-REDCROSS.
To make an automatic $10 donation, text "Haiti" to 90999.
According to the organization's Web site, the Red Cross is not sending volunteers to the country.
* Doctors Without Borders (Medecins San Frontieres) is also taking donations for the relief effort. That organization's Web site is http://doctorswithoutborders.org/ and the phone number is 1-888-392-0392.
