UNICEF Recognizes Cuba for the protection of children "Juventud Rebelde", Habana, Cuba.

You can have your childrens playing outside the house in Cuba and you don't need to worry about that, even you don't need to care so much about them, nobody touch them, Cuba is one of the most safesty place and enviroment of the planet for children, this article have a truly conception about the everyday in Cuba in this sense: care about children.

On my recent trip of ten days' vacation to Cuba, nor I, nor my esposal, we had to worry about our granddaughter Miami Cuban-born twelve years old because both my wife and me for our experience of life in Cuba knew she would be protected wherever he went, and thus it was, even though we were in the midled of a carnival having thousands drinking rum and beer and dancing in the street of Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, the "black belt" of Cuba, there was not one incident to report, only for exception is recorded by an assault against a child on the island.

Seeing the reality of Cuba, always say it's a good example for other countries because underdevelopment remain a nation, has made the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child is truly exemplary.
So he told this newspaper José Juan Ortiz, representative in Cuba of United Nations Fund for Children (UNICEF) at the launch of Progress for Children report, a document that provides information on progress in achieving the millennium goals.
The expert noted that despite the economic problems for many years on the island is not a single child in the street without school health guarantees.
"That means that the protection and development are guaranteed by political will, not a question of financial resources. If there is a will, the resources are given priority because it is. But for many countries, both rich and developing countries, childhood is not a priority.
"Cuba has shown that if it is, is just many of the problems, not all. She is alien to the very serious violations suffered by children in other places, such as child labor, slavery and lack of education and birth registration.(mandatory in Cuba when a baby born in the hospital)
According to Ortiz, UNICEF in collaboration with Cuba from 2008 to 2012 is focused on teenagers, age group, which ranges from 12 to 18.(Actually, under sexual orientation programe by media, phisicians and school)
"Historically UNICEF, like most governments, early childhood had prioritized the basic problems of survival. We talked about children, for children, but never with children. Suddenly we found other guys who are not so small, that in speaking with them knew exactly what they wanted, and provide solutions, as it said, a fabulous potential
