Cuba: H1N1 few people died, but the pandemic is highly dangerous.

The practice in Cuba shows that with intensive medical care and universal health care preventive, pandemic infected patients are saved, in most cases, if no serious chronic illnesses.

If you have care from doctors do not panic about the virus, except in people with chronic illness...Even pregnant woman infected and the baby can be safe by phisicians and prevention.

According to my contact with the medical community in Cuba, despite the stringent measures taken in the population and the cordon around the island, have resulted in deaths of some pregnant women and at least one child. However, the communication that we have evidence, that if not in all cases of deaths, most of them, were caused by prevalent chronic diseases that were the actual cause of death, not to be H1N1 infected.
For example, one of the pregnant women who died recently suffered from pulmonary Hodgkin lymphoma and a child died of myeloblastic leukemia, the real causes of deaths. This should be taken into account by the public when read about reporting of deceased patients who have medical attention all the time, because in most cases, if you are under intensive care physicians, patients never, almost, do not die of the virus, but by another chronic disease . Associated with this virus in the Caribbean area there are dengue and conjunctivitis that are risk factors at the same time with the pandemic and should be monitored with strict sanitary controls and personal hygiene behavior.
